This project I challenged myself to only use Adobe Photoshop to create a whole website. It’s nice to see what I’m able to accomplish when provided constraints. I also wanted to give this website a free flowing feel, instead of a boxy look. To achieve this effect I decided to use clouds for the transition areas to break things up.
PRODUCT DISPLAY
This section of the website was created with a user flow in mind. Users who access online book stores want to be able to browse by genre, which is the left navigation part. The additional filter dropdown menu provided is intended for filtering by price, new releases, and other additional filters outside of the realm of genres.
SHOPPING CART
The UX items were created in order to allow for adding additional products, removing ones already in your cart, adding in a promo code, as well as the ultimate checkout button. Everything here was intended to be straight to the point, which lead to the more boxed-in UI.
